Ingredients
- 1 cup Mixed dals
- 1 cup Chopped onion
- 2 tbsp Chopped green chilies
- To taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- To fry Oil
Directions:
1Mix dals together. Soak in water for 4 hours. Wash with clean water thoroughly and drain well.
2Now blend dals in a blender till near to paste. Do not use any water while blending. Now add chopped onions, green chilies, turmeric powder and salt. Mix everything well with your hand and keep it aside for a while.
3Heat some oil in a fry pan enough to deep fry. Take some dal mixture, flatten to make small piyaju shape and release into the hot oil to fry. Keep the flame medium high while frying. Fry both sides till brown and crispy.
4When both sides turn into reddish brown in color and seems crispy, take out from the oil by a strainer to remove extra oil. Leave them on a kitchen tissue to soak the excess oil. Serve warm to enjoy crispiness.
